User Tips – Screenshots and Images
This little icon on the toolbar is a tool for capturing screenshots of what you are browsing. When I invited the first ten test users to BuzzProfile, one of the first questions I received from the test group was “why do you have a screenshot tool?” The simple answer: search engines and people are both looking for visual results about you. The screenshot function of BuzzProfile allows you to clip pieces of information on the net you are browsing. Many professionals don’t want social photos representing them, so a quick image capture of something they are professionally interested in makes a good substitute for enhancing your “visual presence” online. This tool allows you to automatically post captured images to your blog, services like Flickr, or just e-mail them to friends for further commentary. As a team or agency using the toolbar, it allows you to quickly spot websites or areas of concern, tag and note them, then distribute them to a communications team to take further action. |
